Joya - Bliss for your back

At Joya, we firmly believe that back problems should not restrict anyone's daily walk. Today, modern people walk mainly on hard industrial floors like concrete and asphalt and often wear shoes that limit walking and standing.

Healthy walk due to suitable shoes
Joya shoes support the natural movement process and encourage active walking. Joya shoes also promote healthy posture, which provides relief to the back and joints and can also reduce and prevent back and joint pain.

The effect of Joya

The positive effect of soft, elastic sole on the musculoskeletal system is proven in many studies and has been used in physiotherapy for a long time. Joya has developed a shoe technology that utilises this principle and enables a healthy, muscularly active form of walking and standing throughout the day. The soft and springing material of the Joya sole transforms a hard and flat floor into a soft, elastic surface. This increasingly activates small support and stability muscles again, which can remove stress from the joints and the spinal column. Plus, “micro movements” support the activity of the foot, calf, and leg muscles, which enable active walking and standing.

The effect that Joya has on your body

Softest shock absorption
Softest shock absorption
The soft polyurethane Joya sole adapts individually to the shape of your foot and thus has a supporting effect. At the same time, it also offers maximum freedom of movement. In addition, any shocks that occur are damped. This can relieve the back, feet and joints.
Optimal pressure distribution
Optimal pressure distribution
Joya ensures smooth rolling movement and optimum pressure distribution. This prevents pressure spikes in heel and forefoot. Joya footwear enables natural movement and encourages active walking.
Increased muscle activity
Increased muscle activity
The soft cushioning Joya sole ensures that you never stand still. The body is animated to constantly maintain balance by the so-called micromovements. This automatically improves posture and activates important muscles in the back and feet.

The Swiss shoe manufacturer Joya develops and distributes back-friendly shoes. Joya enables a unique walking sensation and mimics the natural rolling movement. According to the AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken e. V.), all of Joya’s shoes are especially back-friendly and distinguished with the coveted AGR quality seal. The soft patented Joya sole ensures optimal pressure distribution under the sole of the foot. This prevents plantar stress concentrations. Joya causes the foot to sink in while stepping, which in turn causes the hip to drop down on that side. The muscles in the back must be stabilized by this movement, which can also have a positive effect on back problems. The strong cushioning effect of the soft PU sole reduces the pressure on the spine, which can provide a beneficial effect.
